The Astronomy and Cultural History of Astrology is a 10-week course that will be taught by Travis in 2022. From its distant origins in megalithic stone circles, to its inception in Mesopotamia and maturity in Greece and India, through the Renaissance Golden Age, right up to the present, astrology has constantly evolved alongside our understanding of astronomy and our cultural beliefs about our place in the cosmos. The rich back story of our art helps make us more grounded practitioners and offers new possibilities for creative retrieval in the present.

Aspects in Astrology: Sacred Geometry is a 6-week course that will be team-taught by Jessica and Travis in 2022. This course will focus entirely on the 5 major aspects in astrology (conjunction, opposition, square, trine, sextile), examining their interpretive meaning as well as the numerological and historical explanation behind that meaning. We will study how to understand the aspects in the birth chart, personal transits, and world transits.

Synastry and Composite Charts: Understanding Relationships with Astrology will be taught by Jessica in 2023. The focus here will be using synastry and composite charts to better comprehend what is happening in our many relations with family, friends, co-workers—tuning into the myriad gifts and challenges of human relationship.

The Astrological Worldview: Metaphysics and Embodiment will be team-taught by Jessica and Travis in 2023. This course will inquire into the underlying assumptions that make astrology possible, and then go further by engaging in participatory practices that use astrology to change your life. On the one hand, we will consider the spiritual outlook associated with an astrological cosmos, and on the other we will try to truly inhabit such a world through a living dialogue with the divine.
