Jessica DiRuzza, MFT is a depth psychotherapist, educator, and astrologer, as well as a wife, and badass mama. For over 18 years, I have worked lovingly and collaboratively with individuals, couples, and groups on their embodied transformative journeys. My life calling is to integrate the insights and wisdom of astrology and psychology to support humans living the most meaningful lives we can with the precious time we have here. I offer sessions online with people from around the world and from all walks of life. I welcome people of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and sexual preferences.

I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I wrote my thesis on shame and the reclamation of the feminine voice. I did my bachelor’s at California Institute of Integral Studies where I studied and taught archetypal astrology and transpersonal psychology. Together with my husband, Travis, we co-founded The Trust Psyche School of Astrology and Depth Psychology, which offers a full astrological curriculum, from beginner to professional, with a beloved community of students from over 25 countries. Travis DiRuzza, PhD is a scholar, astrologer, counselor, musician, husband, and father. I am the Director of Programs and a teacher at Trust Psyche School. Plato said that philosophy begins in wonder, and I believe that when we stay true to the loving spirit of wisdom, we need not erect final blueprints of the cosmos, but rather deepen into that wonder. My journey of inquiry led me around the world but finally back to myself, and to myself-in-relationship, the bedrock of what it means to be human.

I grew up in New York City and Western Massachusetts and earned my Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. There I studied English literature and music while performing in NYC. I lived in Paris and worked as a professional double-bassist for a decade, playing and recording throughout Europe and Southeast Asia. I received my Master’s and PhD in philosophy and religion from California Institute of Integral Studies, where I studied archetypal astrology, transpersonal psychology, and psychedelic studies with Richard Tarnas, Stanislav Grof, and Christopher Bache.

I am also a longtime mindfulness meditator in the Vipassana and Kriya Yoga lineages. I attended the 7-day silent meditation retreat at Wat Ram Poeng in Thailand, and was initiated into Kriya by Yogiraj Gurunath in the Joshua Tree desert.
