In my experience, being human means knowing pain, loss, fear, and confusion along with joy, felt intimacy, and meaningful connection. Meaningful relationship, with ourselves and with others, is the foundation of a balanced and flourishing life. And yet, so often our lives can be filled with difficult and challenging emotions. The archetype of the Moon is the psycho-somatic part of our being – our bodies, feelings, and emotions. The Moon is the relationship we have with our mother and family, our early childhood experiences, and how we nurture ourselves and others. Whereas the archetype of Jupiter expands whatever it touches so we must first look at what is being touched in the lunar dimension of life to understand what is being amplified here. Growth often comes with growing pains, some discomfort, anxiety, and fear of the unknown as we work our edges. Moon-Jupiter teaches us that when we take care of our core needs and nourish ourselves there is an abundance of support and maternal care that blesses our lives. When we get overly caught in what is comfortable and easy we sometimes miss the larger call to grow.

I wanted to re-share this podcast episode with you under today’s Moon-Jupiter-Chiron triple conjunction in Aries.

Sung to you by the lovely Travis DiRuzza.

I really love this episode, where Travis interviews me. I hope you enjoy our hour long conversation. We go to some special places together.

In episode 30, Jessica DiRuzza shares her experience and understanding of integrating astrology into her depth psychotherapy practice. She holds astrology as both a therapeutic tool and encompassing spiritual worldview that stimulates creativity, connection, and purpose in both client and therapist.

Happy New Year!

We are so excited to be here with you in 2022. We have a wonderful group of people for our upcoming astrology course, both live and recorded, and we would love for you to join us! Early bird ends in one week, on Wednesday, January 19th. Our class meets on Sundays from 1-4PM ET for 10 weeks, from February 6th through April 10th. You can find all the details right here.

In this course, we will trace the human relationship with the starry sky from its earliest origins in the recognition of solar and lunar cycles and their relationship to light, heat, and tides, through the sacred geometric stone circles of megalithic culture, to the birth of astrology proper with the Mesopotamian zodiac and Egyptian decans. When Alexander the Great unified these two regions with parts of Europe in the west and India in the east, the great cultural synthesis that ensued gave birth to Hellenistic astrology and the four pillars of our practice to this day: planets, aspects, signs, and houses. The Middle Ages saw the cultural center shift from Alexandria to Baghdad, where astrology flourished and evolved in the Islamic Empire before being retransmitted to the West during the Renaissance, dying a second death during the Enlightenment, and being born again through Theosophy and the New Age.

I would be honored to be your guide on this remarkable adventure through time, where we will not only study but imagine and experience what it was like for our ancestors to become conscious of their embeddedness in the universe. For the history of astrology is the story of humanity awakening to its place in the cosmos and thereby navigating its relationship to the divine. That story continues with us today, as part of an unbroken lineage stretching back to the earliest of our species, able to be animated once again, in always deepening communion of above and below.

Wishing you a bright and bountiful year ahead,

With all our blessings and love,
Jessica and Travis DiRuzza

ASTRO CHAT occurs when we spontaneously turn on our phone recorder in the middle of what we are experiencing as a stimulating conversation about astrology. We are still discovering what ASTRO CHAT is, but for now, we can say this: It’s us in our life, doing what we love. You will hear background noise from the space we are in, as well as folks who come by and talk to us unaware (we get consent afterward). Everything is unedited and unrehearsed… It’s just us.

On 12.20.21 at 4:39PM we sat down to an early dinner at Flavio’s Italian restaurant where this 11-minute conversation took place.

In episode 27, Jessica and Travis DiRuzza have a heartfelt and embodied sharing of the upcoming Venus retrograde conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. The retrograde begins December 19th, for 40 days, until January 29th, and the conjunction lasts through early spring. They also share some of their new offerings for Trust Psyche!

Healthy Relationships: The Wisdom and Blocks of Moon-Saturn

The Leo Moon opposite Mercury and Saturn inspired this IGTV live. This is a talk about master couples versus disaster couples and the pioneering work of the Gottmans’.

Please join me on Insta LIVE, tomorrow, Friday, 2/26, at 3:30PM Eastern Time for a lively and lovely discussion on all these changes, with the formidable James Socci.

After 10 years with the trustpsyche logo (something I was convinced I would never change), I have decided, with the guidance of my wise council, to change my logo and website. I have grown so much over the past decade and so has Trust Psyche. I am born with the Saturn-Uranus conjunction of 1987, became a professional astrologer under the opposition in 2007-08, and now with the current square I am ready to integrate and become all the changes I have experienced (a fabulous way to honor Saturn-Uranus alignments). I am beyond in love with my new logo and website. All to be released in the coming days. A major rebirth for me and everything I believe in with astrology and depth psychology.

“All change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous in the end” -Robin Sharma (born with the Saturn-Uranus opposition of 1964).

Here is a 4-minute video to invite you to join me for a free astrology webinar for all trustpsyche students.

I would love to see you on Friday, August 14th at 1PM ET / 10AM PT for a 90-minute live Q&A on Zoom for all trustpsyche students. My intention in offering this astrology webinar is to bring together all trustpsyche students around the world to share sacred space while having meaningful and enriching dialogue with one another. Whether you have taken Initiation to Archetypal Astrology, Deepen Your Astrological Practice, Embodying Astrology, or Astrological Counseling I would love to see you there on the 14th. We are celebrating over 100 students worldwide! RSVP to receive the link at trustpsyche.com/events or on the trustpsyche home page.

This time will be fully dedicated to answering your questions. I will not prepare any material to teach. Please refrain from asking personal questions about your birth chart. Instead, reframe the question so that everyone may benefit from hearing the answer. For example, if you are curious about what your natal grand cross means, ask the question like this, “if someone has a grand cross in their birth chart, how do we interpret that?” I always like to ask my questions in a way that both benefits my learning and curiosity, as well as that of everyone else listening.

In 2021, trustpsyche will offer three new online astrology courses for all levels. Personal Transits in Astrology, Aspects in Astrology, and The Astronomy and Cultural History of Astrology.

Now is a good time to begin studying with me if you have been considering taking astrology classes. The two courses available right now are Initiation to Archetypal Astrology and Deepen Your Astrological Practice. I recommend beginning with IAA and then doing DYAP. Together the two create a very strong foundation for all levels of astrologer learners and practitioners. These two courses are designed for spiritual seekers, personal development, therapists, coaches, healers, yoga instructors, and anyone wanting to bring astrology more fully into their personal and professional lives.

I would also love to stay connected with you more frequently on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube where I post weekly on archetypal astrology & depth psychology.

Lastly, here is my monthly Stream Podcast: Archetypal Astrology & Depth Psychology where I host a variety of guests and have awesome conversations.

It is such an honor to be your teacher and to have the opportunity to share and create this body of knowledge and wisdom with you. If you cannot make the live webinar, it will be recorded for you to access later. You still need to sign-up at trustpsyche.com/events.   I very much look forward to our special time together. I love teaching and it is pure joy for me to get to be with each of you.

𝗘𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, natural medicine that is in the air, so to speak. It is important to remember that whatever else we combine with Eclipse medicine, that the Eclipse energy in of itself can be as strong as Phoenix tears – The 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of phoenixes have immense healing powers, and are the only known antidote for basilisk venom. Capable of reviving a person from any injury, 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 can save a person even at the brink of death, similar to drinking unicorn blood, but without a cursed life. ✨That is, what we bring into Eclipse season we are using the natural cosmic weather patterns to help accelerate. Watch and see. Participation is always key. ✨

All blessings as always. 🙏🌚💞
