There are 2 spots left for the LIVE version of our upcoming online Astrology Class, Aspects in Astrology: Sacred Geometry. We have a wonderful group of travelers from all around the world. Would you like to join us? It is going to be super fun and awesome!

Here is our description of the course:

This 6-week co-taught course covers in depth the meaning of the 5 major aspects in astrology, also known as the Ptolemaic aspects: conjunction, opposition, square, trine, and sextile. We promise to breathe new life into this traditional topic. One-half of each class will be devoted to a deep dive into the clinical manifestations of a single major aspect as Jessica has seen in her 15+ years of astrological counseling. In the other half of each class, Travis will offer a specific approach for understanding all the aspects together: historical, mathematical, geometric, musical, harmonic, and archetypal. We study how to understand the aspects in the birth chart, personal transits, and world transits. We also explore the meaning of major aspect patterns such as the t-square, grand cross, grand trine, Star of David or grand sextile, yod, kite, and mystic rectangle. Additionally, we go into the meaning of the minor aspects: the quincunx, semi-square, and sesquiquadrate, as well as the quintile and septile. A brief elaboration of the theory of harmonics provides an overarching framework. This course is open to all levels, from beginner to advanced, and is designed to enrich every level of student. Class will meet on Sundays from 12-3PM Eastern Time beginning February 26th through April 2nd.

In this course you will receive:

  • 18 hours of teaching with Jessica and Travis
  • Course syllabus
  • Assignments for every week
  • Supplemental materials, including recommended podcasts, readings, and videos
  • Permanent access to all course videos and materials via the course page.

There are 3 ways to take the class:

  1. Live in the Zoom classroom where you may ask questions and interact with teachers and students
  2. Live outside class in parallel, receiving lectures each week plus the opportunity to write on the class discussion board
  3. At your own pace

We have a phenomenal group of students gathering from all around the world for our upcoming astrology course. We would absolutely love for you to join us if you feel called! We will spend 6 weeks together, as we dive deep into the meaning and use of Aspects in Astrology: Sacred Geometry. Together, we will create ritual magic through the practice and embodiment of astrology.

What I love about astrology is it’s ever deepening invitation to Connection. Connection with our Self, one another through community, and the Cosmos. In this course, we will embody this connection through the way we learn, co-create, and share in how Aspects manifest themselves in astrology. Through the lens of history, math, music, relationship, and psychological understanding, we will explore, integrate, and live together the meaning of the aspects in our birth charts.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Travis DiRuzza at Travis@TrustPsyche.com, we always love to hear from you.

Here is a 15-minute Instagram video I made today, to share some of my affinity with Aspects in Astrology.

Eight years ago, I released this video. I had no idea at the time that so many people would connect with what I had to say. I see the 65,000+ views and wonder how did this happen? I was just sharing something that meant something to me. Now, I see it means something to you too. I am incredibly grateful to each person who has watched this, took it in, and has let me know it means something to them. I am here to be open and connect. I am here to share. I think many of us are here to do just that, in our own unique way. The fact that my sharing reached you, means the world to me.

Since 2015, when this was recorded, I have continued to teach astrology and psychology. I have become a psychotherapist in private practice who incorporates astrology with my clients. I have also become a wife to Travis DiRuzza (the man behind the camera). We started an international online school together, Trust Psyche School of Astrology and Depth Psychology.  Travis gives astrology readings, mentoring, and counseling, while I do psychotherapy. And, I became a mother to the most magnificent daughter. I work closely with my clients, my students, and my community. I love what I do more than ever.

I listen back to what I said here, and I think to myself, I did this and it worked. I keep doing this and it keeps working. So here I am, sharing with you this video in hopes that it inspires you to live in deeper truth, listen more closely to yourself, and to trust that it will take you exactly where you need to go.

Is there more to say? Always, and I plan to say it right here.

Thank you for letting me share my voice. Thank you for letting me share my story. Thank you for being a part of my life.

We are thrilled to open registration for our next online astrology course, Aspects in Astrology: Sacred Geometry. Travis DiRuzza, PhD and I will be co-teaching this astrology class this February! I live streamed this 12-minute video on the current Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces on my Instagram at trust.psyche.

I have a renewed reverence for astrology. Most of which is being brought to light by both witnessing and understanding what our ancestors have done to bring into our world, and through my sky-watching practices and rituals. All of this is happening because I get the great privilege and fortune of studying with Travis DiRuzza in his course, The Astronomy and Cultural History of Astrology.

You can take this incredible course right here through Trust Psyche School of Astrology.

Happy New Year!

We are so excited to be here with you in 2022. We have a wonderful group of people for our upcoming astrology course, both live and recorded, and we would love for you to join us! Early bird ends in one week, on Wednesday, January 19th. Our class meets on Sundays from 1-4PM ET for 10 weeks, from February 6th through April 10th. You can find all the details right here.

In this course, we will trace the human relationship with the starry sky from its earliest origins in the recognition of solar and lunar cycles and their relationship to light, heat, and tides, through the sacred geometric stone circles of megalithic culture, to the birth of astrology proper with the Mesopotamian zodiac and Egyptian decans. When Alexander the Great unified these two regions with parts of Europe in the west and India in the east, the great cultural synthesis that ensued gave birth to Hellenistic astrology and the four pillars of our practice to this day: planets, aspects, signs, and houses. The Middle Ages saw the cultural center shift from Alexandria to Baghdad, where astrology flourished and evolved in the Islamic Empire before being retransmitted to the West during the Renaissance, dying a second death during the Enlightenment, and being born again through Theosophy and the New Age.

I would be honored to be your guide on this remarkable adventure through time, where we will not only study but imagine and experience what it was like for our ancestors to become conscious of their embeddedness in the universe. For the history of astrology is the story of humanity awakening to its place in the cosmos and thereby navigating its relationship to the divine. That story continues with us today, as part of an unbroken lineage stretching back to the earliest of our species, able to be animated once again, in always deepening communion of above and below.

Getting your bearings for 2022? Book an astrology reading now to see what our next trip around the sun holds for you.

Wishing you a bright and bountiful year ahead,

With all our blessings and love,
Jessica and Travis DiRuzza

Astrology is a love language shared with the Divine that is spoken in countless and evolving ways. The conversation is rooted in ancient living symbols that manifest as archetypes, deities, psychological concepts, emotions, physical energies, stories, mythologies, and symptoms of the mind, body, and spirit. By deeply exploring and bringing our own creative voices to the 45 planetary combinations or pairs—from the Sun and Moon out to Neptune and Pluto—we enhance our communication and communion with Cosmos. Each planetary pair is a relationship—a dynamic marriage of sacred principles that contains multitudes. Before we even consider aspect, sign, or house, a single combination already has endless stories to tell, coming to life through the artist, poet, painter, or musician. We all contribute to the ongoing articulation of these divine energies, and to their constant evolution in light of our constantly evolving world. Each of us is here to help pen the cosmos in our unique way and thus contribute to a truly interdisciplinary and integral astrology. Jessica takes three different planetary pairs (Mercury-Pluto, Sun-Neptune, Saturn-Uranus) and demonstrates some of the myriad ways to speak and live with them in an embodied, impassioned, and psychological manner.

Thank you to the Baltimore Astrological Society and Tess Barr for inviting me to speak! I had such a lovely, connected, and inspiring time.
