In episode 30, Jessica DiRuzza shares her experience and understanding of integrating astrology into her depth psychotherapy practice. She holds astrology as both a therapeutic tool and encompassing spiritual worldview that stimulates creativity, connection, and purpose in both client and therapist.
I am so excited to share with you an hour long interview I gave about Psychedelics and Astrology with the host of Psychedelics Today Podcast, Kyle Buller. We had so much fun talking about two subjects, really three with psychology, that are so dear to my practice and life experience. I hope you enjoy listening to what we each had to say. As always, please feel free to share with your friends and family and let me know what you think.

Stream 12, trustpsyche monthly podcast, is a vulnerable sharing of the archetypal qualities of the Moon and Chiron in a person’s life. To speak we must listen. To love is to need. Our gifts come from our wounds.
Astrology is the language of the stars, as psychology is the language of the psyche. Logos, the Word, gives breath to all things, making meaningful the utterance of the cosmos in the patterns of the heavenly bodies, as the utterance of the psyche comes in symptom, feeling, image, and is made meaningful by our attempt to translate our deepest human experience into language. We invite you to join us in our ongoing dialogue as we explore the phenomenological correlations between cosmos and psyche.
In today’s session we explore the Saturn-Neptune complex and it’s relationship to emotional and energetic boundaries in healing work.
In this episode of Correlations: The Archetypal Astrology Podcast, Matthew Stelzner, Delia Shargel, and myself have a really meaningful and fun conversation about my article, “Re-Visioning Saturn” published in the Archai Journal. I felt so honored and thrilled as we spent an hour and a half exploring some of my widening sense around the evolution of the Saturn archetype. We discussed the dynamic and static masculine and feminine qualities of the planet, while we deeply questioned the patriarchal worldview the astrological tradition, including archetypal astrology, have emerged. Please join us for another episode.
In Exploring Astrology with Jessica Garfield-Kabbara, astrologer Adam Sommer and I have a candid and rich conversation about the current world transit of the planetary alignment of Saturn square Neptune. We also talk about Stan Grof’s perinatal matrices and birth trauma reflected in the natal chart, and musings on archetypal astrology. A big thank you to Adam, for having me on his show. Check out his other stelliferous podcast recordings at Exploring Astrology.
The recording of the latest episode of “Correlations,” with Matthew Stelzner! On this episode, we focus much of our discussion on the Saturn-Neptune archetypal combination (currently in the sky in a 90 degree square alignment for everyone and when we recorded this episode being lit up by the two planets–Sun and Mercury). We dialogued about the ways it is coming through both collectively (in the recent terrorist attacks around the world and their tragic impact on all of us) as well as on the individual level with so many of us working with a grief process or other “tests of consciousness.” We work with the metaphor for understanding the way Saturn is the accrual of patterns of wisdom (or challenging habits that are hard to move beyond) that are like the quality of the “thread count” with which we weave our experience of life. We also give time to the Uranus-Pluto archetype, and Matthew explores the correlations to the recent sad story of Rupert Murdoch’s takeover of National Geographic magazine, amongst other topics. We also had some excellent participation from the live webinar participants. Enjoy!
