In episode 35, I have the great pleasure of dialoguing with one of my favorite people to talk about the Cosmos with, Matthew David Segall, PhD. Matt shares his perspective and wisdom on being an Aquarius, as well as beautiful insights on how this archetype evolves in the Zodiac. We also share our love and understanding of astrology, and what it means to be a human in community. Come join us in our ritual dialogue.

I created this 26-minute video on Venus in the Birth Chart: The Archetype of the Lover, on my YouTube channel. I really enjoyed this livestream, because I got to reflect on and share my understanding of love and the lover archetype. I hope you enjoy! Please like the video and leave a comment.
We are thrilled to open registration for our next online astrology course, Aspects in Astrology: Sacred Geometry. Travis DiRuzza, PhD and I will be co-teaching this astrology class this February! This course is open to all levels, from beginner to advanced. We have designed this course so that it will be deeply informative for every person taking it.
This 6-week co-taught course covers in depth themeaningof the 5 major aspects in astrology, also known as the Ptolemaic aspects: conjunction, opposition, square, trine, and sextile. We study how to understand the aspects in the birth chart, personal transits, and world transits. We also explore the meaning of major aspect patterns such as the t-square, grand cross, grand trine, Star of David or grand sextile, yod, kite and mystic rectangle. Additionally, we go into the meaning of the minor aspects: the quincunx, semi-square, and sesquiquadrate, as well as the quintile and septile. A brief elaboration of the theory of harmonics provides an overarching framework. We approach the aspects historically, clinically, geometrically, mathematically, and musically. This course is open to all levels, from beginner to advanced, and is designed to enrich every level of student. Class will meet on Sundays from 12-3PM Eastern Time beginning February 26th through April 2nd.
In this course you will receive:
18 hours of teaching with Jessica and Travis

Eclipse season occurs two times each year. It’s the undulating rhythm of our solar system and human life. Eclipse season is a powerful and potent transformative portal, with so many different things both coming in and going out. Eclipses ask a lot of us as humans, and are often quite demanding. To be in the unknown, to be in the mystery, to let go without always knowing what comes next, to try and ride the cosmic dragon and not go down in flames. In episode 34, I share my personal experience and understanding of this most recent eclipse season in Scorpio and Taurus.
After 15 years of giving professional astrology readings, 10 years of being a depth psychotherapist, and loving what I do more than ever, I now happily offer consultation to other professionals. This is something I feel deeply called to do and absolutely love! Read more about what I offer below.
Professional Consultation: I offer on-going or one-time consultation sessions for therapists, astrologers, coaches, or anyone using astrology and/or psychology in their professional work. These sessions can be used to help you grow your business, enhance the work with your clients, integrate astrology into your practice, and understand the archetypal patterns and dynamics that are in play in your sessions. I gladly use astrology in these sessions – natal charts, personal transits, world transits, synastry and composite charts, progressions, and solar return charts – to best support you and your clients.

When the two planets of Venus and Pluto make any major aspect in the natal chart, we can gain an intimate understanding of how Venus-Pluto natives psychologically relate to other people. By understanding the light and shadow expression of this planetary pair, we become familiar with the archetypal narrative or mythology of how a person is working with and through this energy in their life. Soul-making is that potent and magical intersection of combining the universal meaning of a planetary aspect with the unique soul expression of a human being embodying the particularities of their life’s journey. Like the yin-yang symbol, the light and shadow are both interrelated and dependent on one another for their existence, as seen in the transformative journey or story of the dance between any two archetypal qualities, in this case, Venus and Pluto. Each planetary pair is a living archetypal story, and once we know that story, we can understand where we have come from and glean insight into where we are going.
