Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen, Trans Folk, and Humans of all Kind(s),
My magnificent husband— the remarkably intelligent, outstandingly wise, and now scholar of western history and philosophy, Travis DiRuzza, will defend his dissertation on Friday, December 6th at 2PM Eastern Time (11AM Pacific). We cordially invite you to come join in on the fun and celebrations of a 25+ year journey of education! Travis will present for approximately forty minutes followed by questions from his committee and you — the public. All are welcome, so please invite your friends! The more the merrier!!
How does the world relate to the divine? Plato proposes the doctrine of participation to describe this complex relationship in which divinity is both a part of the world and yet apart from it. Participation gives rise to philosophical problems and enigmas that are only fully resolved in the course of a 1200-year evolution culminating in the work of Maximus the Confessor. Travis will trace this history of ideas and then explore how the participatory relationship with the divine may serve as a template for our relationships with each other.
I also hear there will be a fascinating and original discussion of participation, archetypes, and astrology in this defense. Travis’ dissertation already has raving reviews. See you there~!
This amazing talk by Dr. Chris Bache ranged across everything from the powerfully transformative use of psychedelics to the death-rebirth mystery, reincarnation, the ocean of suffering, diamond luminosity, the future human, and finally coming off the mountain. Pre-order your copy of LSD and the Mind of the Universe: Diamonds from Heaventoday!
Thank you so much to Chris for everything he has generously shared with all of us. Enjoy!
The brilliance of the evolutionary impulse seen throughout the universe is the very same impulse that is embedded within your own soul and its desires. In this livestream, Christina Hardy paints a big picture view of the soul’s evolutionary intelligence as reflected in the astrological birth chart. Within this evolutionary context, she focuses on the meaning of the planetary symbols of Pluto, Mars, and the Moon’s Nodes as they describe the soul’s desires, karmic past, and evolutionary intent.
We are grateful for Christina’s presentation this month for the trustpsyche livestream. You can see more about Christina and schedule a reading with her at TranspersonalServices.com.
We are very excited for our guest speaker next month, which we will announce this coming Tuesday!
Christina Hardy has been a practicing astrologer for 16 years. After receiving her Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology at John F. Kennedy University, she studied archetypal astrology for 5 years at the California Institute of Integral Studies with Rick Tarnas. Christina later expanded her practice by studying evolutionary astrology under Kim Marie Weimer for 5 years and is now certified as an evolutionary astrologer. She draws upon both traditions but, in particular, the evolutionary astrological perspective to bring to light the evolutionary intent of the soul for each question, concern, and issue that a client faces. Christina is also a certified Deep Memory Process practitioner (taught by Patricia Walsh) and offers past-life therapy as a tool for healing and understanding one’s present life issues. She draws upon all these traditions to with her heart-centered intuition to illumine the evolutionary intention of the soul, and to help her clients navigate life’s challenges. I am proud to share this music-dance-poetry-art video that Travis created, featuring Soleil Chappelle, Brendan Smith, and Tara Swasti. Travis put together 45 of these videos as part of our online course: Deepen Your Astrological Practice (begin now at trustpsyche.com/#deepen). There is one video for each pair of planets: this one is Mercury-Saturn. We’d love to hear your reactions!
Today VENUS-URANUS conjunction + MERCURY-SATURN trine: an original dance-music-poetry-art video from the astrology course, Deepen Your Astrological Practice, which illustrates Mercury-Saturn in the context of meditations on death. I don’t believe astrology can predict the moment of death (hear from Jessica on this topic in Stream 1). Though Saturn is its symbol, death has less to do with the cosmic archetypes, and more to do with a person’s unique and particular historical existence, here in the realm where mortality has the last word. Death is our inescapable fate, and though our soul lives on, this incarnation only happens once. Our time here is finite, which demands that we honor time as a sacred resource, both for ourselves and for others. For even more poignant than our own death (after which we will have passed into the expansiveness of the life between lives), is the death of others (for which we remain painfully present). Their preciousness in light of their impermanence encourages our right action toward them, illuminating the Saturnian connections between manifestation, time, death, and ethics.

You are each invited to my livestream talk on May 5th at 2PM Eastern Time where I will discuss how I understand the current planetary alignments of our time. For those who have seen my Saturn-Neptune talk given at Esalen in 2014, this Saturn-Pluto talk will be of a comparable level of interpretation.
All are welcome. To watch live you can join in at trustpsyche on FB // trustpsyche YouTube channel // or to ask questions via Zoom, signup attrustpsyche.com/livestream.
We loved making this Stream for you and we hope you enjoy it too!
Stream 10 hosts our first guest, Travis DiRuzza. We share our love of astrology, synastry, connection, and one another during this in-depth conversation about a metaphysics of relationship. We explore why synastry is a significant and necessary form of correspondence in our age.
