Happy Lunar Eclipse! We would love for you to join our next livestream with the amazing evolutionary and archetypal astrologer, Christina Hardy!

REGISTER HERE!

Christina Hardy has been a practicing astrologer for 16 years. After receiving her Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology at John F. Kennedy University, she studied archetypal astrology for 5 years at the California Institute of Integral Studies with Rick Tarnas. Christina later expanded her practice by studying evolutionary astrology under Kim Marie Weimer for 5 years and is now certified as an evolutionary astrologer. She draws upon both traditions but, in particular, the evolutionary astrological perspective to bring to light the evolutionary intent of the soul for each question, concern, and issue that a client faces. Christina is also a certified Deep Memory Process practitioner (taught by Patricia Walsh) and offers past-life therapy as a tool for healing and understanding one’s present life issues. She draws upon all these traditions to with her heart-centered intuition to illumine the evolutionary intention of the soul, and to help her clients navigate life’s challenges. Travis and Jessica DiRuzza discuss the archetypal meaning of solar and lunar eclipses. By understanding both the astronomy and astrology of eclipses we can best align ourselves with their potent energy. Looking at the solar eclipse of July 2nd and lunar eclipse of July 16th, which powerfully activate the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of 2018-2021, while Mercury retrogrades over it from July 7-31, Travis and Jessica share their understandings of eclipses.

You can register for the trustpsyche livestreams on the first Sunday of every month here! We always love to see you!

Travis DiRuzza discusses the evolution of philosophical theories of time and their relevance for astrology, as well as the role of narrative in identity creation through time. Our assumptions about time are the premises underlying our astrology and affect how we practice. Living in a time-directional cosmos has implications for our self-understanding and how we hold our suffering. Other considerations include philosophy of astrology, self-transformation through the storytelling of our lives, ethics, and death, as well as pizza, cities, melodies, Zeno, Boo Radley, Tarot, and more, with applications to chart-reading and life-living. Concluding with a song recorded specially for this occasion.

Thank you to everyone who came to our livestream this past Sunday. We really love getting to spend some our Sunday with you. See you all next month on Sunday, July 7th for our next event! You can register now here to watch live through Zoom and ask questions and share.

Cheers!

Watch this phenomenal piece of astrology art!

I am proud to share this music-dance-poetry-art video that Travis created, featuring Soleil ChappelleBrendan Smith, and Tara Swasti. Travis put together 45 of these videos as part of our online course: Deepen Your Astrological Practice (begin now at trustpsyche.com/#deepen). There is one video for each pair of planets: this one is Mercury-Saturn. We’d love to hear your reactions!

Today VENUS-URANUS conjunction + MERCURY-SATURN trine: an original dance-music-poetry-art video from the astrology course, Deepen Your Astrological Practice, which illustrates Mercury-Saturn in the context of meditations on death. I don’t believe astrology can predict the moment of death (hear from Jessica on this topic in Stream 1). Though Saturn is its symbol, death has less to do with the cosmic archetypes, and more to do with a person’s unique and particular historical existence, here in the realm where mortality has the last word. Death is our inescapable fate, and though our soul lives on, this incarnation only happens once. Our time here is finite, which demands that we honor time as a sacred resource, both for ourselves and for others. For even more poignant than our own death (after which we will have passed into the expansiveness of the life between lives), is the death of others (for which we remain painfully present). Their preciousness in light of their impermanence encourages our right action toward them, illuminating the Saturnian connections between manifestation, time, death, and ethics.
